Monika Malinowska-Olszowy jest profesorem uczelni na Wydziale Technologii Materiałowych
i Wzornictwa Tekstyliów Politechniki Łódzkiej. Od 2016 roku jest prodziekanem ds. kształcenia W swojej działalności badawczej koncentruje się głównie na zagadnieniach związanych z zarządzaniem w aspekcie gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym oraz zrównoważonym miasten. Uczestniczy w realizacji projektów naukowo-badawczych, jest wykonawcą w projektach Erasmus+ (Design4Climate, DiamonDT, Skills 4 Smart TCLF Industries 2030 (S4TCLF). Obecnie jest koordynatorem projektu Erasmus Plus – Sustainable Design and Process w Textiles for Higher Education – GreenTex. W ramach programu Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego Top 500 Innovators odbyła staż na University of California, Berkeley, USA. Współzałożycielka pierwszego laboratorium kreatywnego rozwiązywania problemów wdrażającego Design Thinking metodyka – DT4U Mentorka w zakresie innowacyjnych metod nauczania Ukończyła szkolenie Design Thinking Masterclass for Tutors na UiT -The Arctic University of Norway W 2022 roku ukończyła szkolenie coachingowe w ramach International Coaching Community, otrzymując certyfikat International Certified Coach. Jako wykładowca prowadzi szkolenia i kursy z zakresu tutoringu i coachingu. Jest Przewodniczącą Komisji Promocji Miasta i Współpracy z Zagranicą oraz członkiem Komisji Ochrony Środowiska Rady Miejskiej w Łodzi. Jest również członkiem Rektorskiego Zespołu ds. Zrównoważonego Rozwoju, działającego przy Politechnice Łódzkiej.
Monika Malinowska-Olszowy is associated professor at the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design (TUL). Since 2016, she has been the Vice-Dean for Education at the faculty. In her research activity, she focuses mainly on issues related to management in the aspect of circular economy and sustainable city. She participates in the implementation of scientific and research projects, the main researcher in some Erasmus + projects (Design4Climate, DiamonDT, Skills 4 Smart TCLF Industries 2030 (S4TCLF). Currently, she is the coordinator of the Erasmus Plus project – Sustainable Design and Process in Textiles for Higher Education – GreenTex. As part of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s Top 500 Innovators program, she completed an internship at the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Co-founder of the first creative problem solving lab implementing Design Thinking methodology – DT4U. A mentor in the field of innovative teaching methods. Completed the Design Thinking Masterclass for Tutors training at UiT -The Arctic University of Norway. In 2022, she completed coaching training within the International Coaching Community, receiving the International Certified Coach certificate. As a lecturer, she conducts training and courses in the field of tuttoring and coaching. She is President of the Commission of Promotion of the City and International Relations and member of the Environmental Protection Committee of the city council in Łódź. She is also a member of the Rector’s Team for Sustainable Development.
