Nadin Augustiniok

University of Hasselt, Bauhaus University Weimar

Studied Architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, as well as Sustainable Building Conservation in Cardiff, and worked for several years in practice on competition, design and realisation projects. She recently completed her doctoral thesis at the University of Hasselt and the University of Liège. In her dissertation, she investigated the application of value assessment in adaptive reuse projects and its reflection in legislation and practice, focusing on the two selected Belgian regions of Flanders and Wallonia (FWO G050519N). She currently works as a research manager at the International Heritage Centre at the Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany.
