
Diego Zoppi
Graduated in Architecture in 1987, professional registered with the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Genoa since 1989, expert in urban planning, public and private contracts in Italy, the Far East, the Middle East. In addition to architectural scale projects for public and private clients, he has signed important urban and landscape regeneration projects as well as international architectural competitions, some of which won (New Town for the Municipality of Shanghai, Waterfront Genova Voltri, Seagames water complex Hanoi, Vietnam, Regeneration of Historical District of Assuncion –Paraguay, Mobility framework and public parking Republic of San Marino).
He has been a contract professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of Genoa and in various Schools of Architecture.
He has theorized urban regeneration procedures that through collective intelligence in the decision-making process, allow an increase in the stability of urban planning directions.
Currently member of:
– National Council of Architects since 2016 (current coordinator of the Department of International Affairs, coordinator of the Department for the Prevention of Environmental Disasters and Management of Climate Change)
– Executive Board of ACE (Architect’s Council of Europe) since 2019 (coordinator of Area 2: Exercise of the profession – Digitalization and artificial intelligence, Public procurement and Architectural design competitions)
– Region 1 Council of the UIA since 2021 (delegate member)
_ Member of the Board of Directors of the National Technical Structure (STN), Association of 7 Italian Professional Orders for the management and prevention of natural or human disasters.
He has published numerous articles in specialized magazines in Italy and Europe and his projects have been published.
